Multilayer canister: Less plastics, better qualities
The plastic layers of the innovative multilayer canister are many times denser than those of a traditional monolayer HDPE canister. Thanks to the impermeable layers, the canister walls are thinner, which reduces the amount of used raw material and thus, the weight of the canister.
The raw material and technology used in this novelty product stop the packed material from passing through the canister wall. A barrier layer keeps oxygen and impurities on the outside and petrol fumes, gases and chemicals on the inside. The contamination risk is smaller, because the contents are not exposed to air.
The multilayer canister keeps its shape, does not bloat or get dented, because the evaporation percentage of the canister is very close to zero. The UN approved novelty canisters are well suited both for technochemical products and for foodstuffs.
The multilayer canister is a sustainable choice. The carbon footprint of a 5-litre canister is 24 % smaller than that of an equivalent traditional canister. 24 % less plastics is required for its manufacture.
